Adrian Lobo has always had a passion for dancing. As a child, she took tap, jazz, and ballet. However, it was until 2002, she found her true love -- bellydancing. Given her diverse background of Pakistani and Mexican heritage, it seemed necessary that she formally learn what she and her family members had been doing at parties all of her life. Her endeavor to learn the techinique and skill of this memorizing dance began when she started taking classes focused in North African (Morrocan) Tribal style bellydancing. Within four months of learning how to bellydance, she joined the Hand of Fatima Dance Troupe. With the dance troupe, she performed at Haflas, entertaining fellow dancers, and at local events, such as the Las Vegas Rennaisance Faire.
While studying bellydance, she was accepted into law school in 2003 in San Diego. While living in San Diego, she had the privilege of learning American Tribal Sytle bellydance and Fusion bellydance with Heather Stants. Since returning to Las Vegas, she is now a practicing criminal defense lawyer. Her focus and experience in bellydance ranges from tribal style to Lebanese Cabaret. |
