Experience a unique cardio workout with Kehaunani Liu called Island Style Cardio. Nani is an award winning hula dancer who has been dancing for 22 years. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, but recently moved to Las Vegas where she decided to continue on with her passion for hula dancing. For Nani hula dancing helps her remain centered spiritually and keeps her connected with her culture and her family. Through this workout Nani will engage the class in a low-grade cardio program where she will incorporate
basic steps of Tahitian dancing, as well as ancient hula dancing (Kahiko) and modern hula dancing (A’uana). Keep in mind that this is not a hula class. Instead, expect a cardio workout with extreme focus on the abs, legs,
and the okol’e (Hawaiian for “butt”). Come get a glimpse of the Polynesian culture, listen to the music, and maybe even speak the language - all while working out and breaking a sweat. Hele Mai A‘oe! |
